Festival Necessities

So I was thinking about my recent summer experiences mainly my love of festivals and well I know summer is pretty much over, but we might as well prep for next summer or if you're lucky enough to be going to different festivals across the world where it's lovely and warm (in fact I am jealous is you are) and I would love if you sent me pictures. Anyways make to my point, let's go over the festival necessities :
1. Always wear comfortable shoes; I personally always wear my Nike's, they provide the style I love plus they are AMAZING to dance in. You have to be comfortable if you are dancing all day and night.
2. Drink lots of water; I know it seems like a given but trust me, being out in the sun all day, you have to hydrate if you're drinking alcohol in the sun. Did you know you're actually more likely to get burnt if you are drinking just alcohol and more likely to get sunstroke. If you can bring an empty bottle of water into the festival, and make sure you have the bottle cap so that you can refill whenever you need.
3. Sun Protection; Sunscreen put it on before you get dressed for the festival and make sure you are covered everywhere even get your friends to help and help them put it on. Even if you can bring a small bottle of it with you in your bag, security at festivals are very good about that because a sunburnt babe at a festival is not good. Hat's; Whether you are sporty or a fashionista, bring a hat if you are sensitive to the sun; if you want to wear a cowboy hat do it; if you wear a sports cap do it, anything to keep the sun off your face is a good thing.
4. Rain Ponchos; Go to your local dollar store, ( I'm slightly unsure what the equivalent is in the US) but pick them up. Spending like $7 on them is worth it if it rains, also they sometimes come in pretty fun colours, and honestly who wants to get soaking wet if it rains? And they fit so well into your bags, and you can reuse them? Seriously it's a win win situation.

5. Sunglasses; This is a completely obvious one, but you would honestly be surprised how many people actually forget them, bring them so you can one be protected from dust and dirt if its windy, but also as bad as it sounds you can people watch without being obvious hahaha sorry it's so much fun.
6. Turn your phone onto Aeroplane mode & save battery mode, use it to take pictures etc, but because there are so many people at the festival your phone battery actually drains a lot quicker because so many people are trying to use their networks your phone is working harder than normal. so take pictures snap chats etc but post them while offline and take your phone off that mode when you get home, that way you are not at a festival with no way of contacting someone if something happens, you can use your phone if it's an emergency. I hope this helps for anyone going to any festivals anytime soon, and if you are don't forget to send pictures !!!
